Andrew is a transplant from California who found rootlab and settled his family in Houston. He loves outdoor activities such as soccer and dirtbike riding and playing music in his spare time.
Juan spends his spare time riding bikes yet to be designed, searching for awesome horror and sci-fi movies, and torturing his brain cells with mind-bending facts about quantum mechanics and the universe. He also loves beer and being outdoors.
Matt is a multidisciplinary roboticist and mechatronics specialist. He started building robots at the age of nine, won BattleBots IQ and a position at Hanson Robotics before reaching eighteen, and founded the UTDallas combat robotics group that continues to compete to this day. For 7 years he developed ocean bottom seismic recorders that had to stand up to the harshest conditions on earth. He then spent another 3 designing many of the interactives on display at the Wiess Energy Hall at HMNS.
Jarrett is from South Haven Michigan. He's been welding for 9 years and been in Houston for 5 years. He enjoys playing video games when he's winning and spending time with his family.
